1. Organic Dhal Powder

Ingredients:

Toor dal – 2 cups
Gram dal – 1 cup
Red chillies – 6
Pepper – one tablespoon
Asafoetida – a little
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast toor dal in a pan till golden brown. Roast gram dal as golden brown. Roast pepper and dried chillies. Add all mentioned before and add salt, asafoetida and grind in a mixer.

Note: Do not Roast in oil. This powder can be placed in an airtight container and used for two months. Add the lentils powder to hot rice and mix it with oil or ghee. The taste is magnificent.

2. Organic Garlic powder

Ingredients:

Garlic – 250 g
Red chillies – 10
Urad dal – one cup
Oil – one teaspoon
Salt – as per taste

Method: Peel the garlic. Roast garlic until it becomes crunchy (keep the stove on medium flame). Roast urad dal and dried chillies separately without oil. Grind garlic, chillies, urad dal and salt in mixer.

Note: Garlic removes gas emitting. It is very beneficial for heart patients.

3. Coconut powder

Ingredients:

Coconut – 1
Urad dal – 100 g
Red chillies – 6
Oil – 2 tsp
Salt – as per taste

Method: Grate the coconut. Add oil to a pan and Roast the coconut grated and keep it aside. Add coconut and salt and mix well.

Note: This coconut powder can be mixed with rice. Sprinkle the vegetables on the top and stir. Idli dosa is also touched. Copra can be prepared in coconut oil for a month.

Ingredients:

Red chillies – 100 g
Urad dal – 1 cup
Gram dal – 1 cup
Sesame – 50 g
Asafoetida – a little
Oil – 2 teaspoons
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast gram dal and urad dal separately in a pan. Roast sesame seeds. Add oil in a pan and Roast red chillies. Grind gram dal and urad dal into a mixer and add sesame seeds. Grind red chillies and salt and mix well.

Note: If you use a spoon without hand, you can use it in an airtight container. It will last for two months.

5. Organic Pepper cumin powder

Ingredients:

Pepper – 100 g
Cumin – 100 g
Asafoetida – a little
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast pepper, cumin seeds in the pan and add asafoetida. Grind it all in a mixer. Add salt to the rice.

Note: It can be used in making rasam.

6. Kootu powder

Ingredients:

Gram dal – 100 g
Coriander seeds – 100 g
Red chillies – 6

Method: Roast gram dal, coriander seeds and red chillies separately in a pan. Mix all the three in a mixer.

Note: While making kootu, sprinkle it on top and remove, it will increases taste.

Ingredients:

Coriander seeds – 4 cups
Toor dal – 1 cup
Cumin – 1 cup
Pepper – 1 cup
Red chillies – 10

Method: Roast spices, toor dal, pepper, cumin, dried chillies in a pan and grind them together.

Note: Add the tamarind powder and salt, chop a tomato and boil it and make the juice in 10 minutes. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida in a little ghee. The smell and taste will be dazzling.

Sesame seeds – 100 gm
Urad dal – 100 gm
Red chillies – 6
Asafoetida – a little
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast sesame seeds, dried chillies, urad dal separately in a pan… Add salt and asafoetida and mix well.

9. Curry leaves powder

Curry leaves – 4 handfuls
Urad dal – 100 g
Red chillies – 6
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast the curry leaves in a pan until it is crispy. Roast urad dal and dried chillies separately. Add the salt and grind well.

Note: Add it to hot rice and mix it with ghee or sesame oil. Curry leaves are good for the eye. It also helps in hair growth.

10. Organic Pickle powder

Ingredients:

Dried red chillies  – 200 g
Mustard seeds – 200 g
Salt – as per taste

Method: Grind the dried chillies into a mixer. Grind the mustard into a mixer and add salt to it.

Note: This powder is very useful in the season of Aavakai Mango season. If you use this powder, you will get better for a year.

11. Organic Tamarind ground powder

Ingredients:

Tamarind – 100 g
Red chillies – 10
Peanuts – 1 cup
Gram dal – 4 tsp
Fenugreek – 2 tsp
Coriander seeds – 4 tsp
Turmeric – 1
Asafoetida – A small piece
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast tamarind in a pan on a medium flame till crispy. Roast dried chillies, gram dal, fenugreek seeds, coriander, turmeric, asafoetida and peanuts separately without oil. Add the above-mentioned ingredients, salt and grind well.

Note: This powder can be placed in an airtight container and used in the refrigerator for up to three months. Add the mustard seeds and curry leaves in a pan and add the tamarind powder to the rice. If the oil is dried in a pan, add some water to this powder and boil it, the tamarind sauce is ready.

12. Fenugreek powder

Ingredients:

Fenugreek seeds – 100 g
Asafoetida – a little
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast fenugreek seeds in a pan and add required salt and grind well into a fine powder and add asafoetida.

Note: Mix a spoon of buttermilk in the morning and drink it on an empty stomach to prevent stomach ulcer. The body will cool. Just soak the fenugreek seeds in yoghurt the first night and grind it in a mixer the next morning and wash it off. The heat will reduce in the body.

Ingredients:

Neem flower – 1 handful
Red chillies – 3
Urad dal – 1 cup
Salt – as per requirement.

Method: Add neem flower, dried chillies, urad dal separately and add salt to the mixer.

Note: Neem flower is a relief from bile. Neem leaves are stored during the season… Then, you can make a variety of powder, rasam, pachadi and other benefits.

Ingredients:

Red chillies – 250 g
Coriander seeds – 500 g
Toor dal – 200 g
Gram dal – 100 g
Fenugreek seeds – 50 g
Pepper – 50 g
Turmeric – 2

Method: Dry roast red chillies, coriander seeds, pepper, gram dal, toor dal, and turmeric (separately roast) and grind it in a machine.

Note: Instead of drying the spices in the sun, roast and grind them. It will be a nice aroma of sambar powder and increase shelf life.

15. Amla powder

Ingredients:

Large amla – 10
Urad dal – 100 g
Red chillies – 2
Salt – as per taste

Method: Grate amla in carrot grater and dry it in the sun. Then dry roast in a skillet. Roast urad dal and dried chillies separately. Add salt and grind well.

Note: Amla… rich in Vitamin C and iron.

16. Organic Coriander powder

Ingredients:

Green coriander – one bundle
Urad dal – 100 g
Red chilli – 4
Tamarind – large amla size
Salt – as per taste

Method: Dry roast urad dal and dried chillies in a pan without adding oil. Roast the tamarind separately (until it dried well). Wash, dry the coriander leaves and dry it widely in a cloth. Add fried urad dal, dried chillies, tamarind in a mixer and add salt and add coriander little by little and grind it in a mixer.

Note: This is the best combination of yoghurt rice. On days when there is no coriander, add some of the powder in the curry instead.

17.  Organic Ajwain powder

Ingredients:

Ajwain – 100 g
Pepper – 10
Cumin – one tsp
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast ajwain, pepper and cumin in a pan. Add salt and mix well.

Note: Add this powder into the hot rice and mix it with ghee. Buttermilk is a little more than a little, which increases digestive power. If you have this powder, mix it with dosa flour and make it very delicious. A little onion, ginger and green chillies are chopped and add-in to make it a more taste.

Horse gram – 100 g
Dry red chillies – 6
Urad dal – 100 g
Asafoetida – a little bit
Salt – as per taste

Method: Roast dried chillies and urad dal separately in a pan without adding oil. Add the salt and a little asafoetida and grind it into a nice powder.

Note: Horse gram reduces fat.
